LIPS

I paid to have my lips surgically enlarged with a temporary procedure that faded over 6 months. I wanted to do some aggressive exploring of my gender identity and chose something that pushed a fit in between; or was physically noticeable, but shimmering between a gendered action or a change in 'inherent' presentation. I presented a large photographic print of my lips with a text panel of identical size next to it relaying how it was read as not drastic enough for some who were anticipating it.
